I doubt anyone in that band has ever really even heard of the illusion albums.
I've been reading about Avenged Sevenfold a lot lately, and if I remember correctly, the bio on their official website quotes the singer as saying something like "My all-time favorite albums are the
Use Your Illusion albums by Guns N' Roses". I'm not sure how I feel about them as a band yet, but it's always nice to hear the
Illusions get the credit that they deserve. They're
my all-time favorite albums too.
