They are just boring and of limited inspiration. Their is so much better stuff out there, check for it, and u'll soon see.

Oh, come on Izzy! You have to appreciate Metallica. 'St. Anger' was their idea of a concept album. The concept of 'No Solos'. hihi

Iron Maiden is one of the few bands that have HIGHER standards than in the past. Dance of Death is their best album since SSoaSS. The band today would probably never allow garbage like No Prayer For The Dying to be released. They're in great shape now.

No way!, I think that DOD was very boring, nothing new to the band, just a song by BD which was also their first acustic song, but it isn't the best since SSOASS, the last great album was BNW and even that is not comparison to FOD  Undecided

i think Iron Maiden rule! I love Dance of Death and Brave New World is an awesome album. Iron Maiden is one band imo you can't go wrong with.

I think Bon Jovi and Def Leppard are two good options that have been mentioned, I would also add Skid Row cuz their last CD sucked a donkeys cock!

If I can list a solo artist, I would have to say Eric Clapton.  He was so awesome in the 70's and decent in the 80's, but the man hasn't written anything really good in about 25 years.

Loved Cream, but most of his solo work bores me, great guitar player he may be.

Aerosmith- They used to be a ROCK band, as opposed to a teenbop appeal band

and Bon Jovi was never good, they were always vapid and commercial rock.

Jush Push Play which is a fantastic fuckin album and one of my fav aerosmith albums, I like it better than Pump and Get a Grip.

Beyond Beautiful,Just Push Play,Jaded,Sunshine, trip hoppin,I love You Lies, Under my Skin *which is one of the best*, Avant Garden.

I dont understand anyone that bashes Aerosmith's 90's work.

It is still very very top notch.

Oh MY God!

Just Push Play is just awful, bad and embarassing. Get a Grip, which is a mediocre album pisses the shit all over it. And Pump is one of Aerosmith's best works

Aerosmith have been SHITE since the 70's.

rolling stones have been shite since the early 80's

Bon Jovi were never good, although livin on a prayer is pop genius.

Oasis have declined slightly due to the fact that the first three albums will never be matched by any band in the forseable future.

I really liked Aerosmith late 70s-early 80s albums a lot. When they were all fucked up on drugs and even when Perry wasn't in the band. Just listen to "Cry me a river" and "Lightning Strikes" from "Rock in a hard place", it's cool as shit.

No - they just adjusted their style, and became very good in this new arrangement. Reinventing the steel and TGSTK are terrific, if not as immediete as earlier offerings.

Indeed, how on earth could they match what those albums, they have a nostalgia value that even a superior musical offering can't hope to touch and a youthfull energy you can't replicate artificially.
