I read up about some of the '93 shows were Izzy came back to replace Gilby (I think it was 5 shows). Anyway, it said in a couple of shows Axl went off on Izzy. I was wondering what exactly it was he said to him, and also what you guys think of him doing this, bearing in mind Izzy didn't have to come back for those shows.

Actually it didnt tell me anything I didnt already know, just that Axl dedicated Double Talkin Jive to Izzy over 10 times after he left the tour in '93. If anyone could get me actual quotes it would be cool, or maybe there arent really any, maybe he just dedicated it to him and then played the song, i dunno. It still seems really bitchy from Axl to be dedicating a song (WHICH IZZY EITHER WROTE OR CO-WROTE BTW) to Izzy. What do you guys think?

I think Izzy wrote the lyrics and the riff intro, at least the song sounds a lot izziesh  nervous
That Axl do that I don't know, he can do whatever he wants I don't support that anyway.

Right thanks for clearing that up. Still seems like a real asshole thing to do to dedicate the song to the person who wrote it for the band.

Something like...

'Do you remember the guy Izzy Stradlin'? Fuck Izzy Stradlin'! Izzy wrote this song... all by himself... and this is for Izzy, this is called Double Talkin' Jive Motherfucker'

I have it on a cassette.

Axl once introduced Double Talkin' Jive by saying something along the lines of:

"Well in keeping the having a pleasent word for everyone, here i am with a word for Izzy Stradlin, it's called suck my dick and this is Double Talkin' Jive..."

Well the last Axl statement about Izzy I read was from 02, and it sucked, Axl needs to grow up a little.

Can you remember what he said? Also, i remember readnig that after the tour Izzy went to Axls house and Axl spotted him on the security camera and wouldn't let him ni. I read that on The Band That Time Forgot book. That's pretty fucked up.
