well you would have had to be on a seperate planet to have missed tom cruises "i'm in love" period.. Anyone who turns the power on to see any regular shows had to see something,... Their lunacy will not get me to see batman or war of the worlds... if anything someone like tom cruise acting like that made me not want to see it.. So maybe it helped in a way but I'm sure it hurt too.. To say I've been watching is crazy, some things in pop culture you just know.. I don't follow paris hilton but how can you not know who she is..?
i watch about 6 hours of TV a week...from my perspective its not saturated because i dont sit and watch TV all day...i am aware of their so called embellished behaviour though, ive heard it mentioned less than half a dozen times
ok, so why are they appearing on tv with their lovey dovey behaviour? if you think that their motivation is to get more people to see their movies then they have failed with you havent they? maybe it discourages just as many people as are encouraged? did you consider that? ...more than likely their appearances on tv are near enough pointless wrt the marketing of their movies...after all one is a spielberg movie (guaranteed success) and the other has far more prominent actors than lil Katie...and I have seen both movies because i wanted to see them...im far more concerned about science fiction being watered down esp by spielberg than any personal relationship tom and katie have
