Duf's always said that he left Seattle because their was a huge heroin problem there, but dont you think thats the most stupid thing you've ever heard? if some people in my area started taking heroin i wouldnt move to another city, especially if i was going to be hanging around with heroin addicts anyway and almost drink myself to death.

Maybe he thought that, by leaving Seattle, he could "run away" from his addictions. He was young. Unfortunately, he didn't get away from that. It's not that easy. Duff said somewhere that he ended up meeting Slash within the first couple of wks of being in LA, so he ended up right back in the same place. An addiction is just that - something that's very difficult to give up & very difficult to stop. And I'm sure it was fed by "living the rock star life", where there was plenty of booze & drugs given to him for free.

it is to my knowledge that "Duff" wasn't ever into it. His weakness was cocaine and Vodka. It was reported that he was drinking a gallon of Vodka a day and snorting an eightball of cocaine. His Pancreas ending up bursting and he is lucky to be with us had he of not stopped, but look at him now, gave it up and couldnt be more healthy and couldn't look better. "ILoveHim" msaxl43
