Axl mentioned by Bon Jovi on Stern Show

Gary told Howard that Jon is now traveling with a healer, whom he met in the green room. After the healer used a device like a flash light on Gary in order to help him perform a hand exercise, Gary thought he was a little off the wall. Given this, Gary thought for a moment that the guy might not have even been with Jon and that he somehow managed to sneak into the green room on his own. However, Jon assured Gary that he did work with him. In fact, Jon claimed he hired the healer away from Axl Rose in the early 1990s.


We've got some smart folks on this board.  I'm just curious, does anyone know this healer's name?

In the band's tour itineraries, there's a man named Stephen Thaxton who's listed as "witch doctor" (whatever that might mean). If you do a little research, you will find out he's actually a chiropractor. And seems to be quite in demand among celebrities.

You mean he got to opportunity to play gigs in front of tens and even hundreds of thousands of people around the US and world, which otherwise he wouldn't have had a hope in hell of doing??   Relax, just teasing

Well I hope he has somewhat of an impact on some of the material. I am anxious to hear what he and the band came up with.

As for the Bon Jovi thing...lol I actually went as Buckethead on Halloween 1 year to his house and got tootsie rolls...he lives like 15 min from me......beautiful house

If it's the Illusion tour you're talking about, yeah I guess that's him. I don't think the guy works for Axl anymore, but don't quote me on that.

Well Babbabooey is obviously mistaken. Its not a green light that the healer uses. The "healer" IS green, and goes by the name of Yoda.
