sheet music

ive noticed that some people have posted sheet music on this site before, and i was thinking of doing the same, but isnt it an infringement on copyright (which i know this board has an intolerant attitude to sharing officially released material).

I'm one of those people who's posted sheet music before.? I don't believe that the way I do it breaks any copyright laws because:

1.? I actually purchase the mags that I get them from
2.? I don't make any money off it
3.? I always post them with all the credits, i.e., mag name, issue, song writers, etc.
4.? I scan them onto paper with a HTGTH watermark in the background so other people can't copy them to sell

Also, even though it's never happened to me, I've seen here that when something was posted - like pics by a certain photographer - that photographer's people contacted Jarmo and asked that they be removed and, of course, Jarmo complied.? So I'm sure if you posted something "questionable," it'll get deleted.


P.S.? But if I was you, I'd wait for Jarmo's reply just in case I'm wrong about this?
