I write the best songs whilst in the bath... with insence, it relaxes your body and clears your mind, just try it, maybe even have a herbal bath, or have some herbel stuff whilst in the bath

I think the best way to be creative is to cut ties with all distractions. Go to a quiet and dull place. You don't want to be tempted by tv, internet, food, sleep,etc. It's best to be alone with no distractions. That way you're forced to entertain yourself.
