Do You guys think that there's an opportunity for Guns N' Roses to write a James Bond Movie theme song?

That would be great.
Does anybody know, how the producers choose artist? Or maybe it's up to the composer? Is there any chance we could vote or something? D
Do we know if any of Guns N' Roses member is fan of the world's greatest series?

I don't think that Silkworms would work too well with Casino Royale!

Personally I'd like to see a GNR tune used on a show like '24'.

I would think it depends on each movie as to who is the one who decides what's on the soundtrack. But i'm sure if Axl wanted to be a part of it they'd probably let him.

The only rumor we've had this year regarding soundtracks was the one that said GNR would use a song called 'Zodiac' for the David Fincher film 'Zodiac'. Maybe Axl is a big fan of his work(Seven,The Game,Fightclub), and wants to contribute something to his new film. Since CD isn't likely, maybe this is what Merck was referring to when he said 2005 would be the year of GNR.

mmm, certainly it would be interesting to know that GNR has been part of a soundtrack, but I dont know if it would be cool, that they do if for 007 ?specially now that there is not someone who plays james bond yet....

True, but you know....

If Pierce Brosnan was still James Bond, I think that new Guns could make a very good song for the movie(like Garbage did, not Madonna...). As far as I know the cast isn't known yet,  same with the composer and the band ofcourse.

You know, I thought that if they covered Live And Let Die which was written for the movie, there's still a light at the end of the tunel, thought, LALD is just a great song!

Buttcrack, if the thread is pointless, why in the fuck are you posting in this thread? The guy was just asking a question. You dont have to be rude about it. Whats even more disgusting than 'pointless' threads is the constant rudeness and insults that people use against fellow fans. The mods need to put a stop to it. Soon.

DTJ, this is one of those rumors that came out while this site was down. I heard about it at mygnr and also heard it at a non GNR site. The rumor was never confirmed bullshit. So that gives it a glimmer of hope.

DTJ, I dont remember the name of the mygnr member, but someone mentioned some GNR songs we hadn't heard of yet. Zodiac, Atlas Shrugged, and 1 or 2 others. At the other site I was at,I think it was a movies message board, someone linked the song to the Zodiac film.
