That axl does what he does because there is a reason behind it. I was watching the show from 1988 at the ritz and before he got into a song he said something along the lines of " god knows we never listen to anyone" I think that is what makes gnr so special they do shit when they want and how they want to. I went to see def leppard last night here in ny and before they came on they played fucking coma over the speaker i was shocked but i went nuts and alot of other people did to. Yeah when your in the mood to see someone play it's like christ why can't they come on instead of the wait bullshit but i think it makes the night that much more special.

I don't listen to rumors on here at all i'll wait till there is an officail statment said bye the company. It makes it sweet that fans can come to a place like this and talk and say what they have to say about the band they love. I don't post very much but i read every post i've been coming here for 3 years and it's fun to read what you guy's have to say. Byw the way i think there sre aslot more new people on here so we should do that best song elimination thing from the cd's agaion and see where we end up. Sorry if this is the wrong section but Sometimes the wait make that certain thing alot better. wev'ee been chasing axl for so long and someone once told me if you chase thing's long enough then that thing will start to chase after you.

Def Leppard played 'Coma' before their concert started? Interesting. I remember back in the late 80's, Joe Elliot said Axl was his favorite singer. Maybe he still feels that way.

yeah, I was shocked... In fact right before they played it, I was talking to some people about GNR cause my friends boyfriend brought them up and how cool a reunion would be and then everybody around us started to comment on Axl and yes a reunion, no a a reunion, it was quite cool.  Felt like a forum in the flesh..  Then low and behold Coma comes on.

Did Def Leppard kick ass? I've always been a fan, but I've never seen them live. I've heard that alot of their songs dont sound very good live.

I don't know what section it was in...but I mentioned this a while back.  I remember writing that it was the best song of the night!  Smiley  Unfortunately, I saw the "Adrenalized" tour show back in '92 or '93...in Binghamton, NY.

 peace

PS:  of course Axl's got reasons for this wait...I'd just love to hear what the hell they are!  This whole thing drives me crazy.   Sad

that's cool as hell, i would be psyched to hear that too. coma is like one of the coolest songs ever, period.
what seperates guns n' roses from other rock bands is that they are still very much out there being played on stereos everywhere, ten years after. i hear them all the time, because "they're not out-dated and neither is their music", as axl suggested in GTA San Andreas. Cool

Good point. GNR is probrally the most popular band not to put out an album in over 10 years.
