Just a wild speculation on why Tommy was bitter about BH,
He might have tried to persuade the guy to come back (afterward) or even to stay n tour (beforehand) and got the elbow or couldn't get through.

In this case there won't be any problem.

I've read an interview of 2003 where Tommy on the road surely says "Oh, Buckethead, I miss him!" Cheesy

Was this before or after Tommy said he would like to "shit in the bucket" ?

Tommy said he would like to "shit in the bucket" ?
Was it before or after 2003, mate? Roll Eyes

basically that quote tells Tommy likes BH (hey, who doesn't? it seems that almost everyone who knows him in person loves him) but he was bitter because BH left him.
If only he'd be with GN'R again...

Until a replacement has been named and I see him on stage , or hear the album with Buckets parts erased I still hold out hope that Bucket will return and take his place as the best guitarists to stand on stage with Axl Rose.

I hate buckethead and his style. In my opinion, he never brought or added anything interesting or soulful to the new ?or old songs. I'm glad he's out, and hopefully forever. I think Richard and Robin can handle this.

I have to agree.

As long as we are speculating,  I would actually be happier if Bucket were up there unfettered, or rather unFincked. If Axl is going to war with a two guitarist shoot, how about dumping Finck and bringing back the Bucket.

You only feel that way because you haven't heard what he contributed to CD. I fear you will change your opinion if his parts are ever heard.
