yeah , so we were up in the attic cleaning up and I found this box with a huge stack of old magazines from the late 80's and early 90's ... TONS of GNR "stories" , pics , interviews etc etc .... It was really fun to sit back and read some of these!! Letters to the editor asking what happened to adler and the editors not knowing and wondering themselves and just lots of stuff.

Nothing ground breaking I know but some pics seemed rare and one bio made me lauigh where axl cited "a really old corvette with a four cammer engine" as his "dream" car.

I may scan some of these stuff later on and send it to someone here who could host it. jarmo maybe?  Huh

Very cool, Saul. I had a similar experience when I found my old GNR mags a few years ago. Axl's mindset was so much different back then. Do you remember the late 80's/early 90's interview where Axl said he wanted to do 5 albums in a 2 year time span? LMAO!! You can find interesting tidbits about the band from those old mags. There's some old Izzy interview where he mentions a song called 'Nightcrawler' that he wrote for Illusions. For some reason, it never made it on to the album. I've always been intrigued by this song title. The greatest article about the band is in a RIP magazine from 1991. The article was called "The Making of Illusions". Its an in depth discussion about the new songs and what the band was going through at the time. This article started the ball rolling towards the Illusion release. Until I see an article similar to this for CD, I will not believe any of the rumoured CD release dates.
