shesh...y r u so opposed when gnr songs are used in tv shows/advertisements?  they are only for small clips, and they aren't over-done (ie. like some car commercials--think Led Zep and Cadilac...now every time I hear that song, I think of a car! waahhh!)... crying
I see it as gnr's impact on our culture---that they're songs stand the test of time, that they're recongnizable, and catchy!
just as long as they don't start putting thier songs out to help sell Mc Donalds/cars/etc...then I'll be happy (or if any members appear in "the surreal life"...hehe)

I wonder if they had to get permission to use it?

Definately, they had to get permission to use it.

so.. axl wouldnt let wttj be used for black hawk down but he'd let it be used for a 2nd rate cartoon like the cramp twins? i find that hard to believe..

No Axl said yes but wanted to use the new bands version, so slash and duff said no.

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.
