Flee the scene...

« on: May 19, 2006, 07:29:59 AM »

Is it just me or is Hollywood totally backing GN'R? I love the fact that it seems like so many celebrities and musicians are hosting/attending these GN'R shows. That is a great sign in my opinion. This is going to generate a HUGE buzz. I honestly thought that most of todays big names would not be into the whole GN'R scene, it really surprises me, in a very, very good way! I would love nothing more than for it to be cool to like GN'R than the way it was 4 years ago when all the media did was attack Axl's appearence, he deserves more than that.

I think gnr is now pop culture icons, the name at least and axl rose, it's almost trendy to say I was at a gnr concert.. axl and the gnr name are at the top these days, plus his recluseive nature people want to say I was apart of that movement when axl finally came back..  you know it's trendy when lindsey and paris are coming by..

Most of today's big names were fans like us at GN'R's peak.  If I had the time and money I'd follow Guns around too.

It was really nice to see these people who got their tickets handed to them on a silver platter at no cost were also allowed to sit through the whole show recording and taking pictures with no grief from security, while the rest of us got to get very personal with the security out front. Directly I'm talking about Fred Durst sunday night rant Good thing I got interviewed before that show or that would have got brought up in my rant.

Hollywood's backing GnR.  For that reason, Guns should play 2 or 3 dates at the Hollywood H.O.B. sometime this year beer

I think its nice though, Axl's been working real hard, and I think he deservers celeb attention... And looking at the picture's, he's enjoying it too... Does anyone think its strange that a year ago, we where all asking ourselves if he'd ever be back, and now he's all pumped up and rocking? Its a great time to be a gnr fan!

AXL SLASH DUFF = GOAT

« Reply #15 on: May 20, 2006, 09:15:32 AM »

Axl working the club scene for the last couple months has a lot to do with the celebrity support.  Its been part of the plan all along for Axl to schmooze with the beatiful people, the trendsetters and celebrities to get his name out there.  Sure, there's a lot of buzz amongst us diehards, but getting trendsetters and celebrities into the band will have a trickle down effect on the rest of the general public.

Guns N' Roses are very trendy here too. In General Pants, a clothing company for young adults/teens which sell all the expensive jeans and labels, they sell designer printed Guns N' Roses t-shirts!
