Vivendi Universal Reports Full Year 2004 Revenues up 5% on a Comparable Basis


Full Year of 2004:

Universal Music Group's (UMG) revenues of EUR 4,993 million were up slightly (+0.4%) when compared to last year's
revenues despite significant adverse currency movements.

Best sellers for the year included new releases from Eminem, U2, and Nelly, carryover sales from 2003 releases from the Black Eyed Peas and Hoobastank and, Greatest Hits collections from Shania Twain, Guns N' Roses and George Strait.

Yeah, Shania Twains GH sold three million since Novemeber and GNR'S GH has sold 5 million, not bad for a band with no new album since Sep.91

In the U.S is is slowly coming to two million, it is expected to reach that mark in April or May and altogether it has sold 5 miilion.

Blige, Michel Sardou, Nickelback, P. Diddy, Puddle of Mudd, Scissor Sisters, Sheryl Crow, Snow Patrol, Spitz and Toby Keith.

That does not mean it will not come out, it simply means it is not classed as a major release  Grin
I guess the Scissor Sisters are now bigger than GN'R  Wink ...for the moment anyway  Smiley
