I don?t get why the hell ppl who claim supporters of the new band say they?re solely after the payrolls. That?s not really backing new GNR is it? More to the point, I think that's a wrong idea. Enough is enough!

I guess they will have had enough when Axl stops paying them or 2005 is finished cause c'mon Tommy has been onboard since Duff left and I think he is tired of waiting, but maybe he can wait maybe at maximum another year.

They'll all stick around. They're getting paid nicely. They're hardly ever in the studio at this point. Axl seems to let them hit the road or record their own shit whenever they want to and it's not like there are a million other better opportunities in the rock world at the moment. Frankly, being in GN'R is still one of the best gigs you can land in rock- that's why I always laugh at those morons that crack on GN'R and Axl on Metal Sludge- they would all drop their lives and join GN'R in a fuckin' heartbeat if they ever got a call from Uncle Axl.

i dont hate on the new members but honestly what better job could u get?

u get to have a nice solo career and the prospects of knowing that if CD is ever released u are gonna be a mega star and mega rich

so why the fuck would u get tired of that?

if they quit they are only fuckin themselves and the time they've spent would then be wasted

as long as they remain in GNR its not wasted time at all

cause once this cd drops its all gonna blow up!!!!!!!!!!!!! and be well worth it

its kinda like people on the board sayin they arent gonna wait anymore and are tired

well theres nothin u can do, just like the band

they havent invested this kind of time and effort into the most anticipated comeback since elvis returned from the army for nothing! and if some of em quit they are the most stupid human beings on the planet in my opinion.

u cant quit when things are so close!

i think it is like ppbebe said...
it is a matter of them returning more so than it is a matter of them leaving
i believe that when called on they will return
so long as they believe there is going to be a time when they are to return and get the GN'R machine rolling... they will continue to make that a priorty

my point is, it isnt harming them to wait just like it isnt harming us to wait.

they get free reign to do what they want and in the meantime they are gonna be associated with the most anticipated album ever

thats not a bad gig in my opinion

if u are 5 years in, it would be a shame to quit and the cd come out 6 months later.

so i dont think there is any chance they will quit

they will collect their money, do their own things and prosper when axl is ready

The only question is that CD's release is as close as you believe, D. I really hope that it'll come out this year, although I'm not sure about it. And a musician can fed up with the long long waiting, the GN'R fans's questions, the journalist's questions about CD. BH didn't leave GN'R because he was a d.head, he left because he wanted to release the album and tour, but it was impossible.
