He's voice is amazing, i love it and i'm really into some heavy aspects of his range,
like wttj intro, sail away, the ohmygod- waaah...

madagacar is good and the blues too, but i appreciate some really hardcore stuff too headbanger

How would you think if the push the envelope harder and make he sings hes ass of n some really killer music?
Like something in this direction
 http://www.robhalford.com/audio/mutations/01%20-%20Into%20the%20Pit%20%5BLive%5D.mp3

He's voice fits this direction too imo yes

I'm completely with you on this one Norway.

Take note record company execs....If Chinese Democracy was full of hard rockin heavy metal - axl screamin his arse off with some fat mutherfucker riffs, interdespersed with some hardcore shredding and pounding drums this is one fan that wouldn't be in the slightest bit dissapointed!!!!

Raawwwwwkkkkk on!

same for me. GN'R is not heavy metal. However the song is good though, but I wouldn't see GN'R make that kind of music.

When I listen to hollywood rose I think of rob alot, axl's voice was very metal sounding in the 80's, he had the maiden/priest sound.. It would be cool for him to sing like that..

I just don't like metal you really can't understand..

Funny, I was just listening to Hollywood Rose for the first time tonight and thought about how much I thought Axl sounded like Bruce Dickinson on some of the longer notes where he used some vibrato. It seems like Axl's pitch wasn't as good then, I like his singing on AFD better but it's cool hearing him so young raw & pissed off.  beer

YES!! It would be awesome if CD had a metal vibe to it. I would love to hear Axl do a few heavy songs that resemble something off Subhuman Race or Facelift.

I picture GNR going beyond metal. A few heavy tracks would be cool, but the genre is a little limiting to really show what a great artist he is.

I completely agree its good to have some heavy tracks but Gn'R turning into a metal band would be a fucking tragedy

One more time.

Examples of heavy-metal bands -

Black Sabbath
Ozzy Osbourne
Metallica

Examples of hard-rock bands -

Led Zeppelin
Aerosmith
Guns N' Roses

There is a difference...

That song sounds so dated and its one dimentional.  Axl will make music with more texture than that piece of shit song.
