-but the thought of axl goin commercial don't escape me

Personally, I can understand why he did it.  I know the whole "he's a control freak...blah blah blah" but, given the volatile nature of the relationship with the old band, I can understand why he did it.  If it all went to shit (which it did) at least he would still have the name.  Maybe he isn't doing exactly what people think he should do with the band or the name... but, who am I to say that he should do things differently. 

Let's face it, without Axl, there is no Guns N' Roses.  He's managed to prove that there can be a GNR without the ohers.

the cool thing or the good thing about it was that they didn't release shitty records under the gn'r name, that was taken care of under different solo prodjects imo... the sad thing about it is ofcourse the fact that the group you love as a whole can't work things out together...

the way things are now, if axl release this thing called CD and it's good we could all say that we got the cake and got to eat it too.
