Anyhow,I think we can assume that money was divided in the following way

Axl > slash > izzy > 0 > steven

I think Izzy got more than Slash, he wrote more songs.

IM not sure how much they made but im  sure they never have to work again if they dont want, I mean the illusions albums sold about 7 million apeice and Apetite sold ove 15 million in the States and who knows world wide.  Hell then you add the sale of Live Era and of Spaghetti, and then Greatest Hits; just the sales in the US; it equals alot of money;

does anybody know what the standard royalty fee that artist collect per cd sold

Something I do know and that I think it?s a bag full of shit it?s the following:they divided the money in a way that the one that wrote a lyric , for example, got more money than the one who didnt wrote that lyric.And thats shit.They should have divided it in 6 (the 6th would be the manager)and thats it.Take a look,long after, that was what braught all the legal problems.

Here's GNR's rankings on Forbes magazine's annual list of top-earning celebrities.  Each year's total represents the band's estimated earnings from the preceding two years:

1989: No. 31, $24 million
1990: No. 40, $17 million
1991: No. 28, $25 million
1992: No. 10, $47 million
1993: No. 4, $53 million (highest paid musicians on the list)

I got that from The New Book of Rock Lists by Dave Marsh and James Bernard.
