2 demo's - Jimmy Page's kinda sound/style

Recently I've been trying out different kinds of sounds/ style's because I wasn't really happy with the sound I had. Now I think I have found a particular kind of sound which I think really suits my playing. It's a Jimmy Page's kinda sound and I was wondering if you'd like it.

sounds really cool, what kind of equipment do you use? is that you and your band?

Sounds good to me. My only suggestion is to make your solo vary a bit more. I'm guilty of that myself... pentatonic noodling without some clear melody in there to hold it together and make it memorable.

@Erose: thank you, I use an epiphone Les Paul (slash sig) and two pretty big Marshall amps. My setup is somewhat similar to Jimmy Page's. But the thing is he's got many different sounds and all. But here's how I have it at the moment. (ooh btw, the backing you hear is not my band, it's a backingtrack where I played the guitar in. You can find allot of those on www.guitars101.com to improve improvising and all.)

Overdrive: +/- 20% / 30%
Wah-pedal on: standard in high position (that's the trick)

Treble-8
Mid-8
Bass-6

With and a Les Paul the toggle switch in the middle!
 
@Darkburst: Thnx mate! Yup, was pretty much noodling around. Was testing my sound a little. I'm gonna work on some bluesy songs in the following weeks and make something special with the current sound like your suggesting.?

Cool! The guitar tone itself is very Page... I love it, very tasty! In my head there are only two types of songs that are usually playing... Led Zeppelin and The Ramones. Weird right?

haha, well not that weird. It's good music. Never actually listened to The Ramones. Gonna find me some music of them to see what they are about.
