Fuck yeh! Fair play James, its the only way to go mate! Trust me, being all pissy and negative just makes you angry. I've been there done that. Staying postive is much more enjoyable.

I try to be positive, I really really do, just for some reason when you get older and the super fan syndrome wears off you tend to try to see things more for what they are based on what has happened or lack of it.. I know the band itself is ready willing and able, but the question is can axl gather himself enough and have confidence to release this?

Don't be so negative! CD'S coming out! Tomorrow is the day!  yes

Not really. My pot is smokin gold and my kettle is silver.

I don't know how Bo Diddley would walk, but mama I think I gonna start a tank rock move. ( Undecided shit doesn't even rhyme)

I tried a very HTGTH-like format this time.

the fact is :

if CD is not AMAZING, i mean ASTONISHING, the BEST rock n'roll album
of these last 15 years, mister axl rose can stop doing music, quit the
music industry, and just disappear.

In Axl's mind, that is exactly the problem. If he can't deliver the best album ever, he doesn't want to release  at all. He  does not realize that there is no perfection, at least on this earth.

Really? Can you produce any evidence as firm as your statement?

He  does not realize that there is no perfection, at least on this earth.

In my eyes, that's exactly the case with some fans here. eg "the fact" you quoted.

Also it often appears that the 80s/90s axl/GNR image is branded on their minds as perfect and any divergence from it is counted for a minus factor.
There're just plenty of examples.
