"...Just another day in Hell..."

« on: September 27, 2004, 09:21:58 PM »

Maybe a dumb question.....but is there more use of piano's in the latest tour? I was listening to my favorite song nightrain from Pittsburgh and I heard (I guess Dizzy) playing away. Not that this is a bad thing - I just wondered if more songs featured piano use? It actually struck me as weird to hear a power song like Nightrain with piano's playing. It was actually cool. This may be a sign of things to come on the new album.

Nightrain sounded pretty good with piano, but in many ways I don't like it for a hard-rocker like Nightrain.  I look at Gn'r as a band that can play both rockers and ballads, but should separate the two.  There really should be no need for keyboards on Nightrain.  I hope CD has rockers and ballads and the two are distinct, and doesn't have piano on the rockers.

I also noticed that they are playing the keyboard for Paradise City wich at least I didn't hear in my 93 concert here in Mexico city. That sounds interesting.
