Gimme some fuckin' Democracy

« on: August 24, 2004, 05:47:31 AM »

Im not too keen on the set list, with the chosen covers they are doing, i thought to myself, why the fuck is'nt Duff singing some Beleive in Me songs or Slash playing some Snakepit tunes.
I got really pissed off when i thought that, Duff did it with Loaded, he should play those songs. IMO that album is better then Contraband and Aint life Grand is too.

What do you cats think, i reckon Weilend would go down alright on some Snakepit, fuck yeah!! yes

I'd like to hear some "it's 5 o clock somewhere" played by VR> Eveery set list I have seen of theirs seems a little short anyway. Fuck it, you don't have to take any songs out to add some shit. No one would be missing anything so any objections seem dumb.

Or they could just play more STP/GNR songs that the fans would get in to...or even more of their own songs.

All i would care for would be Duff singing Seattle Head with Weiland on backing vocals or maybe doing a duet with him and maybe Scott singing Mean Bone.

The title is a little misleading. It makes it sound like they are actually playing them or have them on their set list. Maybe add a question instead of the explanation points.

Where as with Loaded was a Large or Supergroup sized band. Duff was their star. They were kinda underground with their fans. Where as VR is trying to be revelant and main stream. If you are gonna play covers play covers the general public would know, not subpar albums.
