I think it's great when the interviewer asks Slash about Axl and he says "has his head up his sphincter", Slash goes, "stop giving him a hard time"

That's just one of the MANY times I have heard Slash defending Axl Rose.

I like this kind of interview, coz it's proof that Slash doesn't want to dwell on stuff and certainly doesn't want to slag Axl off, unless he needs to get a specific point across (like when he said "the little bastard then went and dissed me on stage that night!"

I heard this interview live....very funny, Slash makes it through the whole interview without swearing, and then right at the end we get a 'shit' and 'fucking'.

He starts off by saying don't give Axl a hard time, but later on refers to him as an 'extremist' and has a bit of a dig at him. I wish the press would just give it up.

But he doesnt slate him...

Axl IS an extremist... we have seen that in his outbursts and perfectionism.  Sometimes, in the case of songwriting this is a good thing, but others, in the case of jumping itno the crowd to beat a fan up is a bad thing.

Slash wasn't being nasty there.  Even Axl lovers and Slash haters have to admit that it's quite true.

As usual, Slash is being pretty nice towards Axl, maybe more than he really needs.. I think Slash deep inside would still consider a reunion or at least make up with Axl if the oppertunerty shows up...
