On the 3 CD set, the live CD is excellent.  The audio quality is good but mercifully without polishing and overdubbing.

LINER NOTES

“72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.” – James Hetfield

Yeah that is quite the advance. Ours went on sale December 2nd and the shows are in August. I'm really starting to hate buying tickets to shows in the US because of ticketmaster.. They don't sell all tickets to the general public anymore., most go to Corporations and citi card holders.  I need ADA seating and for anyone really big you can forget about getting anything decent even in the presale. I got in within about 10 minutes after the presale started and the best ADA left were all the way up in the 300s.  I had to wait a few days to buy, by the time i did the best my sister and i could get was 416.. $403 for as far back as you can get.

Damn. Ive been following whats going on with ticketmaster overthere for a while. I really hope its not gonna spread to Europe.
Dynamic pricing is horrible.  I paid about 220$ for the Helsinki shows to be in the field. Same price for everyone. Except for the vip tickets with early entry ect. Which is still ok.

I wish i could get on the field for that much If i want to get on the GA on the field right now i have to pay $1500 for resale. If i want to sit in the snake pit  $1,942-5,317. The dynamic pricing is only part of the problem. They now have that premium ticket crap too where they basically allow the band to scalp their own tickets.

FORTNITE X METALLICA… THE RUMORS ARE TRUE

https://youtu.be/mrtWx80NP-Q

We’ve been lucky enough to perform on every continent on the planet, so we set our sights on Fortnite as our next stop. It’s all happening starting this week as we’re excited and very proud to be the first band at the center of all Fortnite experiences with Metallica-themed gameplay coming to Fortnite Festival, Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and more tomorrow, June 13. Plus, as part of an all-new music experience inside of Fortnite, Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. will bring a series of in-game concert performances to players only on June 22 and June 23.

Completely customized and built from the ground up using Unreal Editor for Fortnite by technology studio Magnopus, Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. is a brand-new playable concert through six songs with themed gameplay. The four of us are the icons of Fortnite Festival Season 4, where fans can shred along to songs you’ve probably heard a few times before, including “Enter Sandman,” “Ride the Lightning,” and “Master of Puppets.”

This immersive music experience will have six different showtimes across two days:

SATURDAY, JUNE 22
2 PM ET // 11 AM PT
5 PM ET // 2 PM PT
11 PM ET // 8 PM PT

SUNDAY, JUNE 23
10 AM ET // 7 AM PT
2 PM ET // 11 AM PT
5 PM ET // 2 PM PT

The above times will be the only chance to experience the concert live.

We’re not just visiting Fortnite to perform—we’re here to battle. This new season of Fortnite Festival introduces the Battle Stage, a new competitive way to play the rhythm music game, which will be available even after our collaboration concludes. Fortnite Festival’s Battle Stage will see 16 players in a match, all will play from the same four-song setlist, and one will emerge victorious.

Season 4 starts tomorrow and ends on August 16, 2024, at 12 AM ET. Check out the Fortnite Festival blog for more info on Season 4, the “player-vs-player” (PvP) Battle Stage. Learn more about Metallica-themed gameplay in additional Fortnite games: Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, and Rocket Racing.

We’re also introducing the official Fortnite x Metallica merch collaboration. Look the part while you immerse yourself in our takeover of Fortnite. Four t-shirts are available now in The Met Store, the Probity UK Shop, and in M72 tour venues and pop-up shops for the remainder of the summer.

Join us for the Fortnite experience this summer!
