according to Rockstar Games, the next GTA game, which will hit stores in late october, will feature music from the early 90's, as this is the setting of the game. does this mean that guns n' roses will be featured, or will axl refuse them to use songs of his? only time will tell, but guns n' roses music in a GTA gmae would definately be the ultimate gaming experience. I've been wondering about this too, I suppose it depends how early in the 90s it's set.

Well, the game will have an urban/hip-hop/gangster theme, much like "Boyz In The Hood", so I wouldn't expect a lot of rock music. Although on XBOX and PC, you can listen to custom soundtracks. I listen to GNR all the time while playing Vice City  beer

If it's early 90's the only GNR songs that would be on it if they were would be YCBM and NR. Expect alot of Nirvana and Pearl Jam

It will be a more rap-oriented soundtrack. It's about black gangs in Cali in the early 90's, a lot of "gangsta rap"  Roll Eyes

Vice city is not oriented towards an specific genre. It has different radio stations, like Vrock, etc.
