"Used to Love Her" is without a doubt GNR's greatest love song.   Cheesy

"think about u" is bout Mr.Brownstone...

Umm, where the hell are you getting your information on this?  The song lyrics suggest nothing of the kind.

did they actually do a real love song ?
not a "broken-love "or "lost-love"  song
a real one
about a love that is working and all.

looks like all their famous love songs ( sweetchild, nov rain, dont cry ...) are not really love songs ....

 Huh
I would have to GUESS, they are about a lost love.

Fair enough, but it doesn't make sense that Izzy would write a song called "Mr. Brownstone" and then write another one about the same subject.

Izzy: It's a quick love song about drugs, sex, Hollywood and money.

Fact.

Loved Axl from the beginning.

I read that Izzy ( who wrote Think about you) said it was a classic love song about a man and his drugs. Very L.A. and very heroin.

Doesn't anyone think Patience is a love song?? I know when I heard it I cried. I would have done anything to have someone feel that way about me.
I think it's about someone falling in love with someone who's been badly burned in the heart and needs to take it slow before giving it up again.
I know if God decides to send someone to me he would have to be very Patient because I don't believe in love anymore.

Sweet Child is great whichever way you think of it.
Hell all of them are better than "I used to love her" I thought that was funny until the ex dedicated it to me regularly.
I think I'm right cause Axl just came on the radio for me.

Rock on

SCOM was wriiten for Erin Everly,Axls first wife,I read that she was his high school sweetheart.

High school? I doubt that since Axl didn't go to school in L.A.

/jarmo

sorta this.. but they've known each other for a long time and he even threatened to kill himself if she wouldn't agree to be his wife.
Such a romantic story has such an ugly end. Wink

To end this discussion.

Sweet Child O' Mine is a love song.

Axl: It's the first positive love song I've ever written, but I never had anyone to write anything about before, I guess.

Izzy: That's a real love song.

Is there something more you need to be convinced?

Thanks for the infro about I think About You. I also never knew that.

I would have to go with theses songs for a love song,

It's So Easy
Anything Goes
Used To Love Her
You Aint The First
Back Off Bith
You Could Be Mine
and I Don't Care About You

Jk

I would go with Sweet Child O' Mine Novmber Rain, So Fine and Since I Don't Have You.
