Any idea where that nickname came from?  BTW I was watching the MTV special from '88 he just looked like he was having so much fun behind the kit.  Izzy was right when he said that things weren't the same with Stevie gone.   I grew up in the Matt version of the band but would have loved to see them with Steven in the group.  Here's one for you buddy!!

It's probably not the entire story, but I believe he was called "Popcorn" because he had blond hair that bounced up and down when he played the drums, and the other kids in the band thought it looked like popcorn or something...
