Eden has enough to go around

Crazy to think that this was 25 years ago now but... does anyone else find it really strange that Oh My God was a big part of the promotion for End of Days (1999), featured heavily in TV spots at the time, was a huge mover for the soundtrack, which was certified Platinum... but buried in the film itself, barely audible in one scene then dumped at the end of the credits?

One of those TV spots below... just rewatched it, a bit of an uneven film but it has its moments.

I always loved that song. It sucks that's it's not on streaming services in many countries, including here in Canada.

Didn't realize it wasn't. Glad I have a copy of the EOD soundtrack then!

Not really.  Filmmakers are gonna use songs as necessary in the movie.  It served its purpose as a promotional tool.  The promos for the movie are how I discovered the song.

Me too, as it goes I think the soundtrack as a whole stands up as a pretty good list, even if I only bought it for that one track

Great song.

Often forgotten because the movie wasn't a huge hit and the song has kinda disappeared over time. Not available on Spotify or any GN'R releases.

/jarmo They (the sound track) still pop up on eBay and Amazon, occasionally on Vinyl too. Oddly you can download it from Amazon but it doesn't include OMG

It's odd.

Wonder if it's all because it's a soundtrack and licensing reasons.

Well, not where I am. Might be certain regions then.

I think it's available in the US, but in many countries it's not.

I wish they would play it live again.

Like all of the post-original songs, it would be interesting to hear it live with Slash and Duff.
