Says Axl Rose left Iceland this morning on an Icelandair flight to London after staying in Iceland almost 2 weeks after their concert on July 24. The article says basically nothing what he did here but was noticed leaving this morning. Thought it might be of interest.

The original article didn't claim that. The way it was worded confused people though.

What's happening in London Huh

Of course he probably owns multiple places and being at home after a long stretch of work doesn't have to mean California.

There's probably no Iceland-LAX direct flight, so he had to go somewhre else first.

Check the map and of course there are. Iceland is very well known for servicing Europe to the States.

It doesn't make any sense going east all the way to London unless there's a reason for that.

I'm from Canada, and when I went to Iceland a few years ago I had a connection in London too.

Connecting flight is a good reason.

Just because you got nonstop flights doesn't mean everyone wants to fly Wow Air.

Also, sometimes it's about schedules too. Maybe you'd rather connect in London because the flights fit your schedule better....

Could be that he's never been to London. The last time I bought tickets for a London gig I received a letter (yes, on real paper) that the gig has been cancelled. No explanation was given.
