I'm pretty sure Richard plays the solo as he always did since Buckethead left the band.
Isnt there like several different parts or even solos going on at the same time?. Im under the impression that richard is playing like a riff solo (if that's a thing), like just following the chords instead of the melodic solo that sounds like a siren in crescendo along with the mlk speech.
