I will be sitting in the front row of my section (on the second level) with no one in front of me. I got 8 tickets and would love to make a banner and hang it down since I'm next to Slash on his side of the stage. I'm seeing that you can use different materials, but what is the best overall material to make a large concert banner that 8 people can hold up or down on our section? I figured some of you guys might have some experience with this....thanks in advance.

It's going to be creative for sure, just want to know what/where to get the best materials in order to accomplish something like this?

Look into companies in your area that offer custom Vinyl lettering- these companies often offer custom banners and signs of all sizes-

You can also order online:

Haha. I remember when I attended the Turkey 2006 show a banner: ''Don't worry mom, I'm with Axl again.'' Axl saw it and asked the guy to throw it on stage. He showed it to the crowd laughed and gave it back. One of these magical moments during a GN'R show. Good old days.

PS. Good luck grog mud. I'll be watching for yours on youtube. Where would that be?

Just take care to not block other people's view of the stage. Smiley

That was you? Good stuff. I remember seeing that in some bootleg. Or maybe it was mentioned here... Still, good stuff. Smiley

spray painting a bed sheet is good, as it is very large  but also  folds up  easily. I did that a while back when I wanted the Raiders to fire their coach, they did 2 weeks later, and I like to think my banner held up towards the owners box all day had something to do with it.   hihi

I was looking into that, but don't know if I can find one that will stretch enough to hold under 8 people. Sounds like yours ended up pretty great...lol.

Any one know if we are allowed to bring large beach balls? Every massive open air, stadium rock show I've been to has had large beach balls bouncing throughout the stadium.

Do we bring our own, or does the promoters provide these?
