Maybe I'll get it right next time

I don't want this to be a thread about the evils of scalping tickets.  I was more interested in hearing from people who HAVE used StubHub and if it was a good or bad experience.  I have bought a crap ton of stuff on ebay and even sold tickets many years ago.  I have never used Stubhub.  Some of the tickets are close to what I think I might have to pay for this round of shows.....so looking for some advice.

Thanks....

i bought my paul McCartney tickets last month on stub hub because they were sold old as soon as they went on sale. i had no problems overall and would recommend it. i paid about the same amount i would have paid on ticketmaster.

I would be cautious with regards to STUB HUB. For example, my sister bought four tickets through the NT pre sale (her husband is also a member). However, Ticketmaster told her she could only buy two tickets per household and that two of the tickets will be randomly taken away.

You don't know who is a scalper / agency or regular fan on stub hub trying to sell these tickets. Maybe they bought too many tickets during the pre sale and these will be taken away, so you could be left with a ticket, but the ticket would be good for nothing. Maybe they are selling a photo copy of an electric sale (read one stub hub review where someone tried to get into a concert and they were the 172th person trying to get in with that ticket).

Sure, stub hub would give you your money back if your ticket does not work, but do you really want to take that kind of a chance?

Personally, I would buy from ticketmaster... they are still selling section Bs in Toronto from yesterdays AMEX pre sale. There will also be a facebook pre sale as well as a live nation pre sale. The shows are also offering plantinum seating. I also read that good seats are released just before the show if the bands family / friends are not able to make it. For example, on the Las Vegas fan meet up Facebook group, additional floor tickets for Saturdays show were released this past Saturday. If I would be looking for a ticket, I would use only ticketmaster... and in a last ditch attempt, buy a ticket from a scalper on the street a few hours before hand, who actually has a legit ticket.

Good luck! Cheesy

What about TicketsNow.....apparently they are owned by Ticketmaster and they use a system where they cancel the original electronic ticket and issue you one with a new barcode.
That solves some of the previous mentioned problems right?
