How many tickets can you purchase?

Can someone answer....

Can we purchase tickets on sale to the public if we already got pre sale tickets?  Ticketmaster warns about buying too many tickets and I'm not quite sure I understand.  I'm thinking you can buy up to 8 even with pre sale purchases?

I would think that if you use a different email to receive etickets and a different credit card you could do it. But as far as official policy, I am not sure. The limits are for each particular sale but nothing says you can't participate in different sales (NT, Citi, Facebook, and general).
