So the word over at MYGNR is that Frank and Tommy might be moving on.  And we never really got an answer on Bumblefoot's whole deal.

Suppose this is true.  Can this operation survive 3 defections at once?  Can any?

Just because a band takes time off, doesn't necessarily mean whatever conclusions you jump to are correct.....

And I don't have secret sources for this. It's just called common sense....

Tommy's busy with The Replacements, Dizzy and Richard are out with the Dead Daisies, Bumblefoot and Dj are working on their projects and Frank is probably looking for something to do during this down time.

Well, I have no idea where this is coming from.  I'm certainly not claiming it as fact.

Its frustrating that over there they lock it until they can get some confirmation, only to get that supposed confirmation behind the scenes and re-open the thread, with no indication what that source may be.  Could be bullshit.  Who knows?

I thought it was at least worth discussing though.  But, I put in here as to not rock the boat, because I don't want to detract from the movie theater announcements.

To me it looks like somebody looking for attention as somebody who knows something.

Anybody can make those things up!

I think it's interesting how the so called objective fans, who claim to be in possession of all the tools for critical thinking, are often among the first ones to buy into these things....

That's me buying into this.  Apparently.

Bumblefoot: Who knows if he is in or out? I'm guessing he would be back if someone begged and/or offered him more money.

Frank: Of course he's looking for work. Guns is on hiatus and the man has to make a living. These guys are not on a monthly payroll as we have learned.

Tommy: One can imagine he has had a drinking problem for 30 years now. Don't know why this suddenly affects his status in a band that is currently inactive anyway.

You should have seen the cover they wanted to do. It wasn't a glove, believe me.

The Tommy stuff is definitely odd.  Him being a heavy drinker isn't exactly a state secret.

Unless the implication is that its interfering with his work.  But we'd have heard about that, right?  I think we'd have at least heard a story or two about him being too fucked up to play onstage properly, and I don't recall such a tale.
