He mentions looking forward to touring/writing/recording with both the Dead Daisies and GN'R in 2014.

Also, you can win a one-on-one guitar lesson with Richard.

Man, that is AWESOME!!  I am so pumped about this.  I'm so supportive of this endeavor.

I really, really, really can't be more positive about this whole thing.  Just tremendous.

Couldn't agree more!!!  Richard is AWESOME!!!  He brings his A game to every endeavor!!!

And Axl agrees too!!!  this is one of my all time favorite Axl quotes:

Axl Rose said "He's an amazing lead player and very technically skilled...we finally have the real deal rhythm section, as Richard is a proven professional. Basically, Richard's the guy that we always were looking for." What does it mean for you, to get such a vote of confidence from such an epic rockstar?
I have a lot of respect for Axl. I've been lucky enough to have worked with some of the greatest rock singers, and I've never stood onstage next to anyone as intense as Axl Rose. He's a true musician that really listens to what the other players are doing. So it means a lot to me!

I remember talking to Richard via email, and I asked him a question about his gear. I asked why he stopped using his Les Paul Junior to play Jungle, Easy and Brownstone in the first half of 2006, changing to the ES-175. He basicaly told me how he preffered the more rounder sound of the ES for those songs, and how he never needed to adjust the amp as much as he had when using the Junior.

Being a guitar player myself, this was very interesting to me, and was a response which meant everything to me a few years ago.

Richard's a cool cat...  Cool

Richard is great.

In every way, as a player and as a member of the GNR lore! I'm sure he's a prettay, prettay cool band member and friend to be around also. Just this week, I saw the Neil + GNR performance (notice how Axl and Richard interact) and the RAR and RIR shows from 2006 (his rapport with Finck is, to the core, beautiful!)
