Recent GN'R/VH comparisons

VAN HALEN: played its first US show of 2013 last night (Saturday, July 20) as the closing act of the four-day Rock USA festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

GN'R: recently played US Festivlas.
First time either played US festivals since Monsters of Rock..
VAN HALEN took the stage close to 11:15 p.m.
GN'R: 11:15 sounds familiar..
VH:Singer David Lee Roth Roth went through several minor costume changes, including adding a newsboy hat, a sailor hat, scarves, shades and different jackets.
GN'R: Axl known for costume changes..Hats, t-shirts..Not scarves, newsboy hat or a sailor hat..LOL
VH:bassist Wolfgang Van Halen after the concert. "We had a great time! Hope to be back soon!!"
GN'R: members also known to tweet after shows..
VH: encore Jump.
GN'R: encore PC..
Both songs had keyboards that original members weren't crazy about..

LOLOLOL, what the hell is this?  I think LIGuns has too much time on his hands.  I am surprised he didn't somehow work Long Island into this post. 

I think a quote from Darren Aronofsky's Pi is appropriate right now:

Both bands have been managed by Azoff.

DLR and Axl both wore assless chaps.

Axl knows how to put out fires, DLR knows how to save lives.

DLR and Duff trained under Benny "The Jet".

Dave thinks Axl is crazier than Eddie. Axl doesn't care what Dave thinks.

Axl wore a bandanna around his head, Eddie wore one around his neck.

Doug Goldstein worked for Dave prior to working for GNR.
