If you had to choose 5 videos from youtube that are your favorites....What would they be.??

Filmed wise, music wise, and crowd wise.  All together

2007 AND 2011 HTGTH Fantasy Football Champ!

« Reply #1 on: July 30, 2013, 03:15:50 PM »

Great question.
I don't know how I'd order them, but here are my personal nominees as of late:

'92 Chicago "speech from Axl's heart"
The Freddie Mercury Tribute show, Axl is just amazing.  A particularly amazing Paradise City, and that ending to Bohemian Rhapsody is a classic too.
The intro and performance of Double-Talkin' Jive Paris '92
'06? U.K. performance of Sailing (arena performance)
fan-made vid of Madagascar from way back in the day, 10 years ago? the fan used the best live overall performance of the tune in my opinion, Boston, Dec. 2, 2002, splicing live segments from '02 in...VMAs included.
another fan-made Madagascar vid with a giant plane flying over what appear to be African natives in a boat, warring African soldiers...this one really tied in the human rights element of the song in my opinion.
piano version of Estranged...no vocals.  (sounds crazy because as a whole it's one of the greatest, if not thee greatest, GNR songs ever, but lately I've taken a liking to the straight piano demo version)
Nightrain '06 Rock Am Ring
fan-made This I Love, (I think it was banned as it used a bunch of scenes from the Robin Williams' movie, What Dreams May Come), but damn, the song and the movie are a great freakin' combo.

I'm sure folks here will remind me of others that aren't coming to mind for me at the moment.
 peace

I'd go with Paradise City from Freddie Mercury Tribute with different angles for top choise.
It must be from BBC's live broadcast as it looks unedited. It captures what GNR was back then.imo anyway...  Smiley

The seeker remastered is great !

Sweet Child O 'Mine choir version is really sweet !

As for the rest 2 out of 5,i can't decide....thousands of videos can't fit in a smalli list  Smiley

So very true.

You can't list things like this but this feeling I'll remember forever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2EYyTKNiUQ

Estranged in Rock in Rio 2011. Drinking beer at home watching the show live. Those shivers when one of the best music songs in history started. The perfomance and all that may not have been so good in itself but that's just not the point. Just not the point.

The entire show from the LA Forum in 2011...especially civil war...AMAZING!! I think that show is the best proshot show we have of the current lineup(which I think is the best lineup)...I think it's better than the London show...I'm not a big fan of how the London show was edited. I do however still think the Vegas residency show will get released as an official DVD before the year is over.

I don't watch that much randomly from YouTube as I've got this whole show on my hard drive and all the songs on their own as well. Amazing show.

It was magical being in the crowd at that moment! Even if it was freezing and I was soaked through.

Definitely the highlight of the evening.  I still love how bbf throws his hands up like "Finally".  Thought it was cool of him to kinda acknowledge that.

Great thread, too!
