I wish they done club shows in the UK, the last small venue was Hammersmith, london and that was 8000, that's considered small over here, amazing show. Shocking to hear that america gets all the exclusive tours, UCAP, Vegas and the house of blues places and they don't sell out.  Huh Crazy! I've seen the band 14 times over here and I still struggle to get my standing tickets when ordering them, being placed in a que, and these are for big venues.

It's not just Guns, the demand for live rock music in the States has waned over the years. I'm not sure what to blame - high ticket prices, the Internet, short attention spans, economy, too many other entertainment options? Because those are all factors in Europe too.

You should have seen the cover they wanted to do. It wasn't a glove, believe me.

Hard rock/heavy metal is just not part of the mainstream like it was from the late 80's to early 90's with the old GN'R, then grunge in the early to mid 90's and then with nu-metal (to a certain extent) in the late 90's to early 2000's.

It's just how it is.

I dont know why, but GNR are the band that announce their shows with LESS time for the fans/public to "prepare". Also, most small venue bands dont charge what GNR charge. The most ive ever payed for "small venues" other then GNR is $40. Tht was for Megadeth here in Providrnce, RI last year. Im sure that ticket prices has ALOT to do with it. When i saw them at "the ritz" last year, i payed $125 per tix. Most non die hards will not pay that. For example, If Megadeth wouldve been $100, i wouldve asked my cousin "how was the show"?...

I just wanna know- why is it that GNR dont announce shows 5-6 months in advance like most acts do? (Altho thats part of the reason we love them... Cuz they're not "normal" lol )

This show was absolutely AMAZING. I've not gotten to see Guns as much as I'd have liked to in my life due to a lack of money but, damnit, this show was so worth using every penny I own. Absolutely awesome and a fabulous venue.

i agree about the ticket prices.. my friends who are casual fans wont pay that much to go see a show.. so i end up going by myself

and its always followed by well its just Axl in the band, if it was the whole band id go.. thats the way it is here in the USA with most people

Phenomenal show, and venue.  Actually, it was pretty much packed, so the set-up must have been for closer to 2000 folks, with the larger stage gnr deployed.  There weren't many empy seats when the band went on.  The bar areas were full as well, so I think it was close to a capacity crowd.  I was center balcony, and it was pretty full.  And the floor was jam packed.  Great venue, and incredible show!
