Nothin wrong with cover songs at all

when u dress up like a band, and u pretend to be them and all that, that becomes pathetic.

Has anyone seen NININ or The Perfect Tool?

They're coming in a month nearby and i'm thinking about checking them out Smiley

I've seen NIN a couple of times and Tool once before...

Seems like a good way to enjoy the shows of 2 of my favorite bands very drunk Wink

They are very important. Not only for bands that don't exist no more, like the Beatles or the Floyd, but also for people who live in places where international acts will never play.

Why are people so critical? It's not like they're thinking they ARE the real deal. They mainly play for fun, and people watch em because they enjoy the songs, and it's maybe a little extra fun watching cover band who take it all the way?

Personally I attended a Guns cover band at the place I live a few months back. They were good, and it was fun to hear the Guns song live. No-one I've heard can sing like Axl, but it was good enough. Though I got a little to drunk and started yelling because they played Slash solo songs and not Chinese Democracy and still called themselves a Gn'R cover band hihi

It sort of reminds me of when movie theaters show Rocky Horror Picture Show and have a live cast acting out scenes while the movie plays. The people in it realize they're never gonna end up on Broadway from it but to them it's just harmless fun and that's how I look at tribute bands most of them are huge fans and know it's never gonna amount to anything but hey they enjoy it and people have fun seeing them so I have no problem with it.
