I really wanna know, if this is a tour for CHI DEM, or a brand new tour? I was wandering in 2011 too, because the promo material gave no mention to it.

DJ said, that he wrotet 12 songs for the band, so maybe they could play 2-3 of it, and this tour could named according one of these songs.

What do you think about it?

Don't make fun about that, it's a very serious problem, that not even the fans are knowing the name of the tour!

I dont know about the European Tour - but the U.S. Theater Tour is called "Once in a Lifetime - Up Close and Personal".  Nothing to do with CD.

To be honest I think that the name of the upcoming tour is in fact Chinese Democracy. I mean nothing has been said otherwise really, and why not, CD is still the newest album out and obviously Guns want to promote it still as much as they can.

I know it seems kind of funny subject based on all of the other Chinese Democracy tours. But in fact it makes more sense than ever now to call the tour Chinese Democracy.  Cheesy

It's a problem what it's called?

It's really not.

Your favorite band is out playing shows and being active.

Whoever thinks that's a bad thing needs their fucking head checked.

2003, 2004 and 2005 were so fucking exciting for you that you'd like to go back to that?

Thanks.

I don't think anything has been said officialy as to what these upcoming tours are being called...

But for me personaly, I'm happy and content in calling it the Chinese Democracy tour, until we are told otherwise. It kind of makes sense seeing as they are still heavilly promoting the album, so why not.  Wink

But I can't answer the question with a factual answer, because I don't think anyone "outside of the band" knows for sure at the moment.

I suppose it's not a question of what the tour is called, but is it going to be the same setlist from 2 years ago? Obviously the core of the show is still going to be built on the go to songs, and it would seem likely Europe will hear Civil War and Estranged this time around, but will we see something different in the solo spots, a different AFD/UYI song here a change around of the CD songs, a different set of covers, plus the holy grail of new music?

Who knows? But I don't think any Guns show is ever EXACTLY the same, which is the joy of G'n'R.
