Pretty cool find.  Interesting though that the title of their debut single is blank and/or censored.

Well, my guess would be that they were not sure what single to release as debut?

April 10, 1987 - This press thing
June ??, 1987 - It's So Easy
July 21, 1987 - AFD released

But, Welcome To The Jungle was also played on radio Stations, requested by fans then. It's So Easy had no official video, nor had Welcome To The Jungle at that time (april 1987)

So, i think, they just did not know back then? is this one of the most early letters to the press combined with an album that was not out yet? The album i have here has no special numbers orso, and also no special printing like the gold stamped promo's.

Who knows??

What i found funny is that Guns N' Roses is spelled in three different ways, and that W. Axl Rose has "Harp" listed as instrument behind his name. I did not know he played it back then, lol

^ I bought a cassette of Appetite in Hong Kong in 1990 and it came in a cardboard digi pack type thing - on the back was the front cover to the ISE single and listed the band members and their instruments - and Harp was listed after Axl's name as well!
I wasn't entirely sure how official it was after buying and opening it since the inlay card in the tape was back to front as well - instead of the cross as the front cover, the montage pic with all the band photos from the studio and live was the front cover of the album..
