I love when Axl says that Piazza played for the "Pirates" and that dipshit Trunk didn't get it.

I was just re-listening to this interview and caught this comment... great joke that went over everybody's head!

I also like when Pizza goes "I had Appetite For Destruction they day it came out" and Axl shoots back with "Oh yeah? I had that the day your thing came out" and it's like no one got it. It was pretty damn fast witted.

I'm glad the controversy over One in a Million didn't stop Axl from making jokes of that manner.

Could you please clarify what One in a Million has to do with that joke?
He talks about gays in that song.

Hold on I'm finding the link...I just downloaded it last month.

Okay, go here:

http://www.q1043.com/common/podcast/single_page.html?podcast=soundfiles

Since there are so many interviews, just hit "CTRL + f" and search for "Axl"  There are like 5-6 parts of the interview that you have to download.

Right. He talks about gays in One In A Million, but what that have to do with the fast witted remark at Piazza about having an "Appetite For Destruction" on the day Piazza leaked IRS?

What?

How does Axl saying he had an Appetite For Destruction the day Piazza leaked IRS and Axl talking about gays in One In A Million even remotely connect?

Am I missing something you could explain clearer?

Oh. So the insinuation is that because some think Mike Piazza might be gay that it was brave for Axl to crack a completely unrelated joke?

Ok. Still doesn't make any sense.

"This ^" = me agreeing with you.  I didn't understand what he meant by the One In A Million comment either.

I would imagine Axl and Earl have probably never forgotten that day either.

I read somewhere he was Tommy Lee's bodyguard at one point a few years ago. Not sure if that's still the case or not.

Yes, I just want to add, this is the best piece of radio I have ever heard. And I too have listened to it over and over again. The combination of people in the studio sets the scene for a funny 1hour, 20 mins.

I love Axl's and Sebastian's storys, and I also love how everybody keeps on poking fun at Jericho.  hihi

What a great interview. I just listened to it again for the first time in a few years. Just as it was about to finish, I realised that I had put it on the same day it taken place in 2006 hihi
