Danko Jones

I've tried searching for a thread for Danko Jones, but didn't have much luck... so I thought I'd start one! However, if there is already a Danko thread in existance, please get rid/merge this one! Thank you!

So, I admitted this in another thread (in the Appetite for Collections board), but I'll admit it here too - up until the start of this GN'R tour I had never really paid any attention to Danko. But, recently I've found myself becoming more and more intrigued... so I went and bought "Never Too Loud" the other day and, I've gotta say, it was worth every penny!

Is anyone here able to recommend which Danko album I should get next?

i've been thinking about starting a thread forever but never done it, good initiative since you bought the latest album with new songs and you like it i'd say you should start from there and go back, so next album would be sleep is the enemy from 2006 (my most played danko album according to last.fm).
sleep is the enemy is the album i recommend to most people as the first record to check out, like never too loud it has a clean sound but is IMO a little edgier and harder. some site summed up pretty good:
"Pros
* Songs are simple, yet catchy.
Cons
* Not a lot of depth.
The Bottom Line
Struttin' and swaggerin' party rock."

who'd want depth in songs like these anyway, right? that's one of my favorite things about Danko, it can't get anymore straight forward
