getting rid of everything i own to buy a guitar. this included.
some of you may remember i uploaded a mp3 of the tape. here is your chance to aquire it and restore it better than i did and trade it amongst yourselves.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220190941265&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012

i'm not one for selling bootlegs but i need to clear things out. i have no desire to keep the tape and i'm not going to just throw it away.
hope it brings some of you some interest

Yeah... the guy who originally put the audio out there was a guy who called himself dr_loaded.  Don't know if this is the same guy or someone who's just trying to sell copies of the tape.

this is the only copy of the tape that will surface on ebay. and if i was going to sell multiple copies i wouldnt be selling tapes! i uploaded a mp3 of the tape to little interest on metal sludge some time ago, probably a year or more. i never released a better quality file of the tape though. i had a go at cleaning up the tape in adobe audition but i'm sure someone with a little more time and enthusim could do a better job. i have little interest in guns n roses etc any more but realise the tape does hold a fair bit of historical inportance and hope whoever aquires it will clean it up and trade it around.

as for the guns n roses dvd's i dont have any. the main reason i got the hollywood rose thing was to see if tracii guns was on it. see i was a l.a. guns trader not a guns n roses trader

fair enough dude.

as for those guitars, you ever tried one before? i find guitars are like other things, you get on with certain kinds, but you dont with others, for example i play brilliantly on my mates SG but can barely play a les paul for some odd reason

i have played a supro in a guitar shop in london. it was a model or two up from that auction one. was very over priced though. felt real nice. i have a friend who swears by airline and supro.
i love the gritty tone jack white gets out of his jb hutto airline.
i'm very inspired by gritt. in perfection, 2nd place making the best of a bad situation which i consider those airline guitars to have all of those qualities. and asthetically its the nicest guitar i have ever seen. next to johnny thunders les paul jr Wink

fair play dude. what shop was it btw? as for nicest guitars i've ever seen, i'd have to say the red twin necked sg is just pure sex imo. when i consider myself worthy enough of a player to own it, im buying one

Mmmm...cherry red stain and nitro lacquer over mahogany...so nice that I even have one (tele) in spite of my obsession with white guitars.

I know this is way old, but anyone still interested in dr.loaded's original rip of this? Just found it on an old disc I had from many moons ago.
