Love kills more than booze can make up for

I have some vinyls.... Some i have double, and, was not sure what to do with them.

In this case, the vinyl from this item was a little worn, had some scratches, but the sleeve was still ok.

I also have, bassicly the same item, but then in Picture Disc version.
That came in a pvc sleeve with a sticker on it. In time, the sleeve has crumbled a little, and seem to have shrunk a little, dunno what happened to it, but i only kept it because of the sticker that is on it.

Cut out the picture with a razor blade

Removed it from the sleeve

Glued it to the inner back of the sleeve, and glued in a plastic protective sleeve to protect the disc that will be in

Slide in the Picture Disc

Insert the whole in a larger protective plastic sleeve.

Only thing to do now, is to remove, carefully, the original sticker from the old pvc sleeve, and put it on the new sleeve.

And now i have a nice new custom sleeve for my picture disc. I have some more double's, might do some more customizing, it's fun to do.

I think i may also do the "it's So Easy" sleeve, as i have that 4 times. The disc is still ok, but well, why not.
Only thing is, it does not has this nice round logo on it......

Might try out some other things, perhaps cut out round the heads, but then i need at least 2 layers of plastic sleeve to make it steady enough so it does not bend....

Both sleeves are the thicker cardboard ones, there are also much thinner and lighter paper versions of both. I don't think they are any good to use for this though

what if you'd made a straight cut between the Guns N' Roses and It's so easy line
and also straight down up to the line where the logo starts and from there free form around the logo to the side of steven  (and duff) and around the feet erea?

ow, i know i can buy them, i have about 150 left of my last order. Everything i get get a new pvc sleeve, i also have them for 7 inch, 10 inch, inserts etc.... Only thing i don't have are clear FULL cardboard sleeves, white or black. I do have some here that have holes in the center, DJ sleeves so to speak....

It was not that i did not have them, i just have these extra's copies of singles and stuff, well, you might have seen the collection images i took......
And since i am keeping the best, trading with the rest, i thought i'd do something with the more common ones. At least, the less copies there are left, the more rare they get, hahahahaha (kiddin')

The logo will be gone, that is on the disc, i would like to cut it like that, so the logo (the guns in this case) will be visible, but i don't like headless band members, lol

Will make a photoshop for myself first....

they also have black and white cardboard it is called cardstock (and all other colours too Wink) The only reason i mentioned it was because of the quality, i wasn't sure if you used half sleeves as sheets.

but i see the problem with the cutting part now.

pity the members are a bit too low on the layout.

some more custom work

I made a custom sleeve for the AFD picture disc. Since it came from Mexico, i used something that was used on a sleeve, also from a Mexican release, The Rocker Series
I also made a custom box, it can contain 6 LP's if needed. I created it for my AFD collectibles, and i might make some more for LIES and other releases. Just fun to make and have.
Also, i printed out, only for my own use, some pages from the official press release from AFD, with some images too. Bound them together in a book form, and that makes it a nice read.

So, the box contains :

AFD, Orig sleeve
AFD, Replacement sleeve
AFD, Orig Picture Disc (in the custom made sleeve)
AFD, Flexible Promo Disc with interview
Japanese Sticker Sheet (real deal)
Lies ad Insert, that i remade, so it is just a print for my own fun.
The bound booklet with the press release info and pictures.

And, there is room to put in the replacement picture disc, but that is a little rare and so expensive.

The box i designed myself, and i used the image from the CD release. Since that has the other waved flag thingy above and under the cross. Added some stickering that was also on some releases, and had it printed on some high glossy non tear paper and folded it nicely arround the cardboard box.
