So whatever happened to these tracks being removed from future pressings of Lies and TSI?? Did that ever happen??

For those that don't remember, Axl said in his RS interview in 2000 that these songs were going to be removed from "future pressings" of those two albums.

Has anything even been said about it since then??

If it didn't happen, I hope it never does. There is no point in censoring yourself after all of these years.

Both songs are great anyway. There should never have been an issue.

OIAM has the best acoustic solo i've ever heard in it. Slash was on his game that day!
I love that song, maybe Axl could have worded it better, But hey, it's still awsome!

LAYGG is a nice song, it's a cool bouns track.

I dunno, dude. If Axl had worded it "better" it wouldn't be the song it is today.

Few weeks ago I had to buy TSI again, as my copy was damaged after years of playing.

Look At You're Game Girl is still there Smiley

I can't tell you for sure that it's a new pressing though, but since it was from 1993 I guess it is, no ? Tongue

It used to be a hidden track. Isn't it rather an official track now? I heard it's labeled on the track listing at #13.

exactly...Axl was making a statement, a social commentary that went completely over alot of peoples heads, like douchebag Cobain...He even had the courtesy to spell it out for people on the albums cover and some people still didn't get it....

Have never seen it listed on TSI.

But, anyone wanting the song removed from the CD should get a life, IMO.

A mate of mine says that Look At Your Game Girl isn't on his TSI - I think he might just be acting like a drongo, hasn't seen it listed on the back and presses stop once I Don't Care About You finishes

I was thinking the other day how far Axl had come, from deriding 'niggers' in a song to having a Martin Luther King speech included in one.

Interesting.

Interesting.
When Axl, used the word, Niggers, it was never intended to be a racial slur. More a personal insult.
