Well, I was about to bid again, as I was interested in buying the 4 VIP tickets, but my computer didn't allow me to do so!
Isn't it ironic?! I should use that money to buy another computer instead...
Well, actually, I'll give some of it to help Ha?ti anyway, because it is very important to help rebuilding that country right now.
Some of my friends have their family there, and the situation is very hard to deal with...

(By the way, of course, if the person who has won the auction wants to sell one of the four tickets, I'm still interested!)

Enjoy 2 tickets to the sold out Arcade Fire concert at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Center in Los Angeles on October 8, 2010. This show has been sold out for weeks. Seats are located at: ORCHESTRA, ROW 19, SEATS 58 & 60.

Arcade Fire is an indie rock band based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and fronted by the husband and wife duo of Win Butler and R?gine Chassagne. In addition to instrument mainstays guitar, drums and bass guitar, members play piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, xylophone, glockenspiel, keyboard, French horn, accordion, harp, mandolin and hurdy-gurdy. The band takes most of their instruments on tour, and the multi-instrumentalist band members switch instrumental duties throughout their shows.

Arcade Fire have won numerous awards, including both the Meteors 2008 Best International Album award and the Juno Awards 2008 Alternative Album of the Year award for Neon Bible. It has also been nominated for the Best Alternative Music Album Grammy in 2005 for Funeral and in 2008 for Neon Bible. Arcade Fire released their third studio album, The Suburbs, in 2010 to further critical acclaim and debuted at #1 on Billboard's Charts.

WE HAVE DONE A WONDERFUL THING

It?s a beautiful day here in London, but more importantly it?s also a beautiful day in Haiti. Our auction to benefit the Timkatec schools in suburban Port-au-Prince ended yesterday, and I?m elated to report that we have surpassed our goal of $40,000!!! When all was said and done and expenses paid, the final tally raised for Timkatec is $45,160.80.

This money will be used to enroll roughly 50 more children in the schools this year (along with the necessary extra teachers), and it will also help to pay most (if not all) of the cost of adding a third story to the Timkatec 3 building which will then house and educate many many more children for years to come.

This fundraiser has meant a lot to my partners and myself, and we are all very proud and grateful for you all helping us achieve our goal. To those who participated and even to those who couldn?t donate, your enthusiasm and passion has humbled and inspired us all. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

To those who missed out, we will do it again next year, mark my word!
