He's looking for some suggestions for a DV camcorder that he's going to record concerts with, not looking to spend more than $350. Looking for something that'll be okay to use a tripod with, if needed. What brands are better than others? Has to be small-ish, able to sneak into the concerts and everything.

He's also said he's looking for an audio recorder to record some audio with at some gigs, suggestions on that too?


Figured I could ask the nice community of HTGTH beer

bumping this thread cause I'm looking for one now..

I had a Sony DCR-PC100 that I used to film some local bands, came out great until it took a shit. Anyone recommend another good camera for low-light settings (concerts)? Saw a few on eBay and I'm keeping a close eye on them, but are there any other good camcorders out there?
