Given this is a GnR board, there may be some bands out their some of you would love, but haven't had a chance to hear, or others do love, but seldom get a chance to talk about...

I'm thinking about bands like:

Vain
Love/Hate
The Throbs
The Sea Hags
Rock City Angels
Lillian Axe
Kathmandu
Circus of Power
Little Ceaser
etc. etc.

While there's no saying what people will like, these are/were all great bands that a GnR/80s metal fan might dig.

Any fans out there?

Yeah, their first two albums are superb.

Easily one of the best, and most original, bands of that scene.

yeah its a shame they fuck up after those first two. but i guess a shit production and no money doesnt help...

bang tango are pretty cool from that era.

shotgun messiah own

faster pussycat

RATT, they were never too big in england. They made some awesome riffs.

i could delve into new era hard rock, glam metal bands if you wish.
Be warned though that usually gains attention from certain posters here to want to rip the piss for some reason.

I liked Shotgun Messiah's second and third albums, and Bang Tango had some great tunes, although no fully great albums IMO.

Faster Pussycat I really liked too... I'm one of the few that probably likes their third album (Whipped!) the most.

I liked LA Guns alot also, especially Cocked & Loaded and Vicious Circle.

Never such a huge fan of Ratt myself. They were definitely a couple of steps bigger than any of those bands in the USthough, although they never seemed to break overseas like Motley managed to.

If you liked Bang Tango, you have to check out Beautiful Creatures.
